One bud to may
I hope they stay
upon a tree that never grows
in which all that winter stows

Between the bark of dog and tree
comes the strength we never see
throwing silent subjects far
into the strength in which they spar.

To be honest, I don't really understand this one. I should like to know what it means, so if you would give an explanation, that would be great. Sorry for being so ignorant.

Love and hugs,
Lizzie

allright, first im expressing my joy for the buds on the trees right now, i enjoy the color and smell of everything. after a long monochrome winter, i never want the buds to go, for they express new life. The dog and tree part is where i explain the wind blowing through the dogwood tree im looking at as i write this as well as the dogs that bark into the wind. the wind being the "strength we do not see" the silent subjects are the trees swaying violently in the wind thrashing about as if they are sparring with each-other. unlike many peoms thrown out in this forum which are pure emotional hardcore stuff, this is more of a thought poem with metaphors and poetic devices. hope you can appreciate it more now!
