Things were happening in my life Things I didn't understand Problems,situations Things just not going as planned My world seemed to be falling apart All I needed was just to pour out my heart Hearing my troubles,you became disturbed But you continued to listen,not even saying a word On your shoulder you let me cry Stop me?No,you didn't even try You just wrapped your arms around me Looked into my eyes and said I'm not going to tell you that everything is okay But I promise,I am here for you,either way You gently wiped away every tear And in that moment,you made everything seem alright So,thank you,from the bottom of my heart For being there for me that night |

Welcome to Passions!!!! This was a very sweet poem. Sometimes it is better for the one you love to just let you let it all out. Sometimes it's better than to try to tell you everything is fine, when it really isn't. It takes someone very strong to just offer a shoulder to cry on. Love the poem, and once again, welcome! Thank you all sooo much for reading my poem and encouraging me.I mostly put this up to see if anyone thought I was any good at this. Thank you.Unfortunately,this person who I wrote about has found someone else.He and I are just friends and not very close anymore,but I do thank you from the bottom of my heart for your encouragement.Who knows,maybe I'll post another poem,soon.
