This is an unsual post.
It's not a poem, but I need someone to write one.
I'm doing the commencment speech this year for graduation.
I want my topic to be about "to see a rainbow you must put up with the rain" it's how we have to persevere and be dedicated.
If anyone would like to write a poem concerning this I would love it. I'll include your name in my speech if you want.
Thanks a lot passions!

Congratulations on giving the commencement speech.  What a wonderful honor.
the title you have selected certainly holds a lot of meaning about life i feel.  A comment though, the inference in the title is that rain must be endured to later enjoy the rainbow.  Rain can be beautiful and fun, depending on your outlook.  If your using rain as a connotation on the bad or difficult things in life, I understand where your coming from. I would enjoy trying to write something for you, but no promises.
Good luck,
Danny

The teacher gives a test,
You forgot about it.
A raindrop falls.

Your mom is mad again,
You didn't do the dishes.
A raindrop falls

Tom called,
Said that he found someone else.
A raindrop falls.

Jenny hates herself,
She wants to end it.
A raindrop falls.

The rain kept pooring,
Pooring and pooring.
You saw no hope in sight.

Suddenly the clowds rolled away.
You looked up.
The rainbow streamed across the sky.

The shower of life can be difficult,
But the rain always stops.
The sky always clears.

Don't give up when things get tough.
Keep your head up, things will be alright.
Happiness comes to those who believe.

The rainbow always comes to those who wait.
---------------------------------------------

That's what I came up with.  If you like it, great!  But if you don't, that's ok too.  Hope I could help!

The truth will attend to itself.
