Angel
I got off my knees
and my shoulders heaved.

I looked up into the sky
and asked why.

It’s not fair.
You were rare.

This sun isn’t as bright.
My days don’t feel right.

I couldn’t stop the tears.
All miss you with all the up coming years.

I walk away from you grave
and I wish like you I could be brave.

It hurts so much
to not be able to feel you touch.

Life isn’t the same
I wish there was some one to blame.

My tears shead
and I hang my head.

I want you here.
I wish you were near.

You were an angel from god
and he took you too soon with a simple nod.

Reast in peace dear
I will always miss you I fear.

Life will never be the same.
Without you it seems lame.

I’ll miss you forever
and forget you never.

~In loving memory of Jessica Ettema~

Floating gently on a cloud....

This is an absolutely beautiful poem. I lost a friend in a car accident 4 years ago. She is still sorely missed by all that knew her. I dreamt about her two nights ago. I know she is happy in her life with God. Life goes on, you will find more people to love and you will always have the precious memories of the time you shared with these special friends of yours.
