Ok people here's my newest poem. Check it out and makes sum comments! Thanks for reading. Twenty-4-Seven Joy! The morning, the sun rising, sittin’ in a garden chair, birds singing, the smell of wet grass, a light breeze blowing through the trees, surrounded by grape farms and blue mountains. This is what makes me happy to be alive, breathing oxygen and smelling the flowers! The evening, the moon rising, sitting in a comfort chair, men shouting, the smell of braaivleis, a mist of smoke moving about, surrounded by walls and technology. This is what makes me happy to go to bed at night, breathing success and the smell of sweat! The day, lying on the sofa, watching pro-wrestling, Daffy Duck and Larry King Live, the cool air of air-conditioning blowing in my face, surrounded by good ol’ home-sweet-home. This is what makes my heart beat strong during the day, breathing love and the smell of ma’s cookin’... |
