well, this was a poem i wrote about 3 weeks ago when i was really hung up over this girl i knew and the following is kind of an explanation of my head at that time. Thoughts of her swim through my mind So as we seek so shall we find A cavern of emptiness is deep inside At times like this, I wish i'd died Nothing can equal the pain I feel Sometimes I think it can't be real For down the tubes my dreams were flushed And in her hand, my heart was crushed Now I am truly in a bind But this is of a different kind I still have the same feelings for her And in my mind my thoughts are blurred I know I should just get over it But all I do is think and sit I think of her with feelings of joy And cry a bit even though i'm a boy For all my dreams are slowly sinking And i'm just left with wishful thinking... |
