During everything that I do All I seem to think of is you. For some reason, I miss you so much. I think it might just be your romantic touch, Or maybe your words that always tied me in knots. The butterflies with pink and yellow poka-dots Still flutter in my tummy and make me tingle inside. I keep trying to set these entire thoughts aside, But for some reason I can’t fight what I am feeling. You even come to mind if I’m, just staring at my ceiling. I have always thought about us being together. It’s hard now since we both live in two different kinds of weather. How can you think I could forget about you and not care? That would never happen…psst! I still have me “Metty” bear. There are so many people out there, But I’m not very willing to be shared. It’s not my style because it doesn’t feel right. Why do you think I just really wanted that flight? I’m a one guy kind of girl believe it or not. That’s why I am so upset that our plans are now shot! I like you use of rhyme in this piece, but it seems like your thinking out loud. Structure seems a little hard to follow. Keep up the effort, your writing is improving I feel. |

I really like this poem, especially the line "psst . . . I still have my metty bear" it's as if you're talking to him, but not at the same time. I really like it! "The worst of what people do to one another is deceive. Because when you love someone you control their version of reality. If you lie to them that's like making them autistic so that what they believe is reality is in fact, not their true situation at all." It's not the angry words that break the heart, it's the silence. Someone said that true love is like a ghost -- often spoke of but never seen. I've seen both and yet in my darkest hours, tend to believe that neither exits. |
