I knew him well, But then I didn't know him at all. He was a friend, A close and trusted friend. I shared with him what I shared with few others I shared with him my life. And then he tells me, What may be goodbye For he may be at the end of his life. We met online, And we never knew eachothers face. But then he tells me, That he die soon. Cancer, the docters say, Though we could be wrong. I don't want to lose him, A trusted friend. I've lost so many others, Will it never end? |

i know how it feels to lose a friend to cancer this is a great tribute to your friend |

Of all the hope under the Stars, Of all the peace that reins above, With any luck at all, I wont lose a friend I love. I have not lost him yet, and the doctors may be wrong, god I hope they are wrong. with any luck at all, they will be wrong. |

it will be okay, b/c no matter what even though he is living a short live at least he should know that he made a difference in some one elses life. when he goes, you'll feel the pain, but over all you'll feel joy of knowing he was yur best friend |

It's obvious that you care a great deal for your friend. I also have many online friends who I'm closer to than my local friends, probably because I know them for who they are, and not for who their neighbors have classified them as. I know it's hard to lose loved ones to sickness, I've gone through that ordeal, and I can only wish you the best of luck and the strength to survive the situation however it turns out. Just pray for your friend and stand by him while he needs you. Good job of expressing your sentiments. |

This is a great poem. I also have many close friends over the internet, and they are as dear to me as the people in "real life". I will pray for you and your friend. "To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world" |

Oh wow. I know this concern well; I went through something similar with my best friend. It was a horrible, self-defeating time and I don't think I'll ever forget her kind words and unrelenting optimism even when she died. Hope that it's all a mistake in the information. HE'S OKAY!!! He got the results back today. He has no cancer. *smiles* Today is a day to be HAPPY!!! Dance Dance where ever you may be. "Sa souvraya niende missian ye." I am lost in my own mind. |
