Swallow

Swirling colours of passionate tales,
Twisting in the excited realm of impossibility,
Dreaming of them in those few nights of sleep,
Wishing that one would come to caress your sorrows,
Romance that never grows old,
And passion that leaves your knees weak and body trembling,
Waking feels like the ever-nearing reality,
That there will never be another tale like that one,
Once it has past,
It will never come back,
Here,
Now gone,
Whisper your wish into the sky,
And hope that a star will catch it and grant this dream,
Twist away from your hopeless life that suffocates your soul,
Forget all the hurt and pain that intoxicates you,
Look into the sky,
For the cloud that holds your future,
Think,
No,
Thinking’s too rational,
Thinking will make you inevitably turn back,
Don’t think,
Just do,
Swallow your future and fade away,
Forget about the hurt and the pain,
Just swallow.

"Whisper your wish into the sky"
"Swallow your future and fade away"
These are two lines I liked in this piece.
very interesting.  I like the way you wrote this.  seems so fleeting...
Nice work.

This brought forth a lot of pain from my past...wow, it's sort of like someone getting into my head for a moment.  Absolutely wonderful work.
