My soul had been ripped apart,
But this creature I call my mind.
There is no blocking it out,
My ears are filled completely.

The invisible claws come out to play,
When I am at my low.
I can hear their low, deep voices,
They taunt me.

They say things I know aren't true,
But how can the mirror lie?
The face is my own,
But the voice is just too different.

The pain is deep and engulfing.
The blackness is filling my body.
Little pricks of sorrow,
Stab at my inner being.

Slowly they attack my soul,
Rip it to tiny little shreds.
They laugh and cheer,
To see someone being destroyed.

The creature is all around me,
It is in me too.
I will never escape the torture,
For freedom is not an option.

Wow... the vivid emotions in this was great. This was one of your best writings yet! Great job.
