Just A Day A day is what you make of it, don't you think? It's what you do that brings it all together. It's how much you put in that makes it seem immortal. Each day is filled with beauty no matter what the case, But the beauty you provide makes it most beautiful. A heart is a silent listener no matter how it hurts, But when you forget the pain, it will start to speak. Today was a day that filled me with all the love and joy, That friendship surpasses with every aging year, That sisterhood joins when we speek to one another, That all can be forgotten with one glimmer of an eye. Morning is a new beginning for this new heart of mine, Where one can be grateful for living each da after the next. Love makes such a presence when it shows up on your step, Of friends, Of family, Of life, Of morning's beauty, Of talks you've never shared and words never spoken. Of a life where all can be altered with a day like today. These tears are tears of rejuvanation cleansing my burdening soul. Now I can see clearer. Now I can wish to forever escape from the prison built with my own hands. After all, refuge is like paradise, And paradise to me is comfort, Then comfort rests my soul today. A day is definetly what you make of it. And I always try to make the most of it. I really like the poem and how it goes together. |

This was beautiful. I wish my days were brighter lately. It's really hard to try to have a good day when the people in your life hurt you, and your enviroment is dull. Keep up the excellent work! Steph: Thanks a lot for the great comment, but as for making your own days brighter you just gotta forget about people and the dullness in their lives and make your own days worth while somehow. It's really hard to find the good in life and not the bad and it's every once in a while that you actually find that and you know it doesn't even last, but whenever you do have that joy in your life. Treasure it, cause once it's gone, it can't be replacd. Enjoy life whenever you get a chance. The good times always help you through the bad. I really should follow my own advice Lovebug: I'm glad my work gave you hope. That meant a lot to me. It's not everyday something you write can help someone out. Thanks!
