I posted this when I first came here. I just thought I would share some of my older stuff since there are a lot of new members now. Plus, I have had a major writers block for the last week or so. I have a dream or is it that, I haven't any clue; A girl with golden hair, Eyes of shining blue. She promises me she will return, I hope she'll come back for me; My dreams will all then be complete, My fantasy I'll see. The girl of my dreams will come for me, I know she'll come tonight; The moon is round and big and full, The stars are shining bright. She and I will get upon a horses back and ride, Throughout the forests' trees; We'll stop just for a little while, With flowers 'round our knees. I’ll make a chain of daisies for her, Dandelions too; And also add some violets, And lace some roses through. We'll ride through day, And ride through night; And ride till there Is morning's light. I'll come home bright and early, No one shall ever know; The great treasures that I shared, With horse 'neath stars aglow. The girl will come for me, Despite what it may seem, I know that she’ll come back for me, But only in my dreams. "WRITING IS EASY. This is a really sweet poem. It's full of imagery. Nice job  "It's my heart that pounds beneath my flesh it's my mouth that pushes out this breath..."-FTE |

What a great poem. If a guy ever wrote that for me I'd be his forever. It shows girls like me that there is hope for great guys like you out there. Too bad that poem was written for me by my ex. |
