She takes this sleep in the ground, buried deep She watched as they cried, for the one who had died They grieved for she was conceived just years ago She failed to tell the world and bailed when she couldn't Her virgin eyes will no longer see the ambient skies above And this tale, that i unveil, is of a girl who was so frail Her point of view went askew and she no longer knew Of what she was living for, what she was hoping for They covered her body and she lay there so proudly For this was the one time, that she was able to shine She was the center of attention, not misconception And she loved its perfection, it led her in a new direction Flying with the wind, no longer pinned, she knew she could win She soared above clouds, and poured her tears among the crowds Her body was free of what it once used to be and all she can see Now are flowers in bloom, free of all gloom, just like she'd be soon "It's my heart that pounds beneath my flesh it's my mouth that pushes out this breath..."-FTE |

I really like this poem! It's beautiful. I'm sorry for the one you lost. "To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world" |

nights: this is magnificent... so beautiful yet so sorrowful... i adore the last few lines... so vivid... sincerely, jerome the boy with no brain A savage place! as holy and enchanted As e'er beneath a waning moon was haunted By woman wailing for her demon-lover! ~Coleridge |
