I saw the way you looked at her, And the way you touched her face. But when I ask you laugh, And tell me not to be paranoid. "She's just a friend" you say, Like I am going to be ok with that. No friends look at eachother like that, At least not any I know. Did you even consider the way, That I would have felt about this. Am I meant to be ok with my boyfriend, Getting close with an imposter? Don't you have a conscience? At the very least a heart? If you did you wouldn't have stayed there. And looked guilty when questioned. I usually would have stood by you, "Innocent flirting" is what you call it. Innocent flirting is meant to be innocent, Your actions weren't that. Go ahead have her, I knew you couldn't just have one girl. But one day you are going to wake up very sad, And most of all, lonely. |

Oh Anonymousfemale- I'm sorry to hear these things. I understand your poem very well, except on the other end. I too have experienced something like that - except I have been the "just a friend". i just got dumped a few weeks ago because the guy said i was too close to Andrew, but then 2 hours later, he started going out with the girl he was "innocently flirting" with. Sometimes its hard to decide if its innocent flirting, or something more going one, because, i do have a flirtatious attitude, and some guys can tell that, while others cant. sometimes its hard to explain why you act the way you do around certain people, possibly because you love them and dont want to admit it to yourself, or anybody else. ~~~Tamma~~~ *how was i to kno that today id meet someone like you? how was i to see the light with him in my path and you too far to touch?* |
