The Seal Deviant thoughts and a broken quill They've fallen down and broken the seal Following rules made by the inept Watching them step over the concept Step on you, step on me They don't see they'll never be free Let 'em believe in their constitution Watch 'em fade and die in disbelief I'll pass by while they lie and let 'em see Let 'em see what it's like to be me They see me through contemptious eyes I, the only one to dodge their decetful lies Backed against the wall of pride lifting tounges showing the hate inside I walk through fields of eyes blazing red In this world i feel almost dead Replaced by haughty words of poison lips The truth is gone from all our lips We've fallen down but it can't be real We've fallen down and broken the seal Hoppy 1-30-00 "Which is the dream?" thanks Marilyn, glad to see you enjoyed that bit of word play. That's what i find missing in alot of poetry is the word play and slanted meanings, alot of it's just flat out though with nothing to read into. though there are the few that are fun to read.
