Revenge is so cruel
Yet tormenture is worse
So why not play their game
To see how it feels?
Why not kill two birds
With just one stone?
Why not lie once in a while
To save from feelings hurt?
Why? Because everything is just too damn hard
Trying to control yourself
Without getting out of hand
Trying to say you’re sorry
When you really don't mean it
Why bother trying to trust me
When you know you never will?
Everything in your head.......

Very nice as always Jer, I hope your situation improves. Somehow it always hurts more when people try to force themselves to feel some way, just to try and not hurt you. Sometimes relationships seem so futile....

Jer: I loved your poem. I can totally relate, especially now. The person I wrote those other poems for made me feel the way your poem says you feel. I hope your situation improves. Now I have another one of your poems I have to live up to. Keep up the good work and tell me what you think of my new poem I should be posting soon.
