just about where I want to be

This is my sister's 2nd poem:

Here I stand
All alone
Not at all seen
By anyone

In a corner
By myself
Everyone talking
Amongst themselves

Hey! family and friends
Can't you see?
You're talking to everyone
Everyone...but me

Still ignored
Though I cry
I think to myself
I wonder...Why?

The only thing
That I can see
Is that for me to be forgotten
Is meant to be

Reply please!

That's really sad!  I'm sorry that you feel ignored...but this was a really great poem.  Right to the point! Keep it up.

Sometimes I feel this way, and it hurts a little too much. The emotions & the expression came across very well.  I could just picture someone standing there so unhappy just looking around & waiting.
