What do you see As you gaze around The empty life I've watched you live? Endless faces A parade of faces Who turn their faces From your stare. As you look on You seek to find A single truth To prove your soul. And while you search Your eyes like burning I feel such yearning For them to rest on me. |

This is a nice poem. Sometimes i feel exactly what you wrote in the third stanza. I hope to see more from you. "It's my heart that pounds beneath my flesh it's my mouth that pushes out this breath..."-FTE |

Hi, Welcome to Passions. This was a great first post. I too love the third stanza but I think the forth has all the emotion in it. Good job. |

Great poem! Besides the 3rd & 4th stanza, (I liked the whole thing! ) (:***Stephani***:) "A true friend will always stay a friend whether or not you feel as though the friendship or relationship is about to end." |
