as I wake each morning after like the waves beat the sand our love written on my heart fades away, slips off my hands hands I used to hold on to the last flicker, to feed the flame alone I tried to carry on but only left my pride to shame shame led me to seek the independence I needed but did not want to admit I found advice and heeded heeded my mind to some extent shunned my heart for it brought me pain began to hate it and hold contempt lashing out in anger to abstain abstain from making contact to a fading memory, a lost love to the things written in the sand and walk away from what I was made of of life, of love, of soul as broken, as hurt, as torn as the not completely whole but everything fades away as… as I wake each morning after like the waves beat the sand our love written on my heart fades away, slips off my hands… Don't Fall.. Very sad, Star Fairy 2. I am impressed by your work. I especially liked the connection with the sea. Great work! *Krista Knutson* ~*Like a lion, without fear of the howling pack, Like a gust of wind, ne'er trapped in a snare, Like a lotus blossom, ne'er sprinkled by water, Let me, like a unicorn, in solitude roam.*~ Hymn Of Buddha |
