here is a poem i wrote...i'm fifteen and it doesn't seem other people my age think like this, but here it is: girl, you are the only one for me, you've taken my lonely heart and set it free, the very thought of you warms my blood, but they say i'm young and don't know anything about love, and maybe all that they say is true, but when i look into the depths of my heart, i see you, and your beautiful face is engrained in my mind, i swear i'll never forget you, in my memory, you're entwined, and i pray that we stay together forever, whenever we're apart, you leave my dreams never, you are all that i am able to think of, it seems you were sent to me from heaven above, but hey, what do i know about love? comments welcome... |

I myself am 16, but very few know it because of my writing and feelings and thoughts. I agree with Astraea, what does age have to do with the depth and power of the human heart? Beautiful work here, I believe you know a lot about love. I know I do. What can I say to this piece? I am 32 years of age and what do I know about love? What I can say is....you can not be sure it will last until you give it time. Time to grow and change. We all grow and change as we age, find someone that is willing to grow and change with you. |

I personally loved the poem. I just turned 17, and am now engaged to the man I fell in love with at 15... and I KNEW it when I was 15! No one can tell you that you don't know what love is. Only you know... but I really did love the poem! April ...in your eyes, I see my future in an instant, And there it goes, I think I found my best friend... |

Great poem! I'm 13 and i feel the same way. They can't say that you know nothing about love, they can't look into your heart can they? Keep it up!  |
