my life has been touched,
because we have walked,
a special walk together.
because you matter to
me.
becuase we are friends,
because you have given me the courage,
because you have given me strength and comfort
of knowing you are there.
because i care
and because i love you.

this is a poem that i have written for my best friend. she has become so through constant emails, letters, thoughts and prayers. i moved recently and until then we were only good friends. through the distance and emails we have become something wonderful. i thank her everyday for being her and for caring about me so much! Rachel Spiegel, you are one and a million and i will never forget what you have done for me. i love you girl!

GREAT POEM! It sounds so much like what I'm going through right now. I just moved from New Jersey to Massachusetts and I don't have hardly any friends and this girl I met in my first week here, are becoming closer as friends everytime we talk. Anyway, I liked your use of words and I think it captured the emotion very well.
