              "THE HARDEST THING"

The hardest thing i've had to do.
Is lie and tell myself i don't love you.
It's looking you in the eyes.
   And saying good-bye.
It's looking at your picture everyday.
And knowing that you're so far away.
It's hard knowing that your letters weren't true.
And trying to figure out why i still love you.
The hardest thing is saying that it was really
     a game.
When in my heart i know that i loved you in
     every way.
   It's hard letting you free.
Knowing you deserve better than me.
Knowing we weren't meant to be.
And knowing you were just a fantasy.

"And trying to figure out why I still love you"--Great line!!! I think this sums up all of your emotions that the poem brings!
