None of us want the pain.

Some of us need the rain.

All of us should have someone to hold onto.

None of us are insane.

Some of us are ashamed.

All of us want to be loved by you.

You've given us such a free life,

with mercy and grace.

After we've died & left this world

we'll be glad we ran the race.

Some think of heaven as a fairy tale,

somewhere out there in space.

But I knew better

right when my sins were erased.

"we'll be glad we ran the race." True. No matter what hurdles, right? We ran the race and didn't give up. Good poem.

I liked your poem alot
but I think your picture by it makes me enjoy it a little more

I like to poem. You should post in Spiritual Journeys. As for the picture..... I don't know (Is it realy you? It looks like a person that would be a little to old to be posting in a Teen poetry section.) If it is you... I do agree your are good looking.
