I sit here and think about these last six months or so and recall everything that has happened. My life has been so wonderfully happy, all because of you. You changed my life so much and in so many ways. You opened my world to new beginnings and closed doors that only led to sadness. There wasn't a moment that would go bye that wasn't spent thinking of you. Your calming voice that was always happy and reassuring. Or your beautiful face that never seemed down. The way you would hold me tight and say it would be ok, or yeah it stinks, but life isn't always good. There is something in you that makes you so perfect. I am not sure what it is, but it is there. You have a talent like no other. I remember nights where I would talk for hours and you would sit there and listen to me. Not saying much, but just enough to know that you were listening to me. You would tell me that you didn't know what to say then, but you would figure it out and tell me when you knew what would help. Now all of this all that has happened between us is over. Over, because of three little puny words, that separately means so little, but together can kill someone in itself. You told me that "it is over," at first I didn't believe you I didn't want to. I thought that is was too good to be true. But since you wanted to end something that to me seemed so perfect, so right, I respected your wishes. Not that easily but I did. I want you to know that I still do think of you and that beautiful face, your sweet voice, and your great sense of love that you gave me and hopefully I gave you. You are still my light of happiness. I will always love you and be there for you. Thank you for everything that you have giving to me. These past few months have been the best I have had in awhile. I also want you to know that no matter what happens to you or me in the future, you will always have a place in my heart, my soul, and my home. |
