This poem was written for a friend who is going through a tough breakup. I'm glad that it helped relay to her that i know how she's feeling.

Today I feel lost
Like sitting on the floor
Of a black room
Watching a black and white tv
With the brightness turned all the way down.
And I stare into the screen
And think of nothing.
As my mind zones
I think I feel your hands
Upon my naked skin
Telling me you aren't gone.
But my mind comes back
And your touch retreats....
And I know
That I loved you.
And I wonder
How I will go on..........

All that I can say is: wow. I really felt how your friend is strugling with her tragedy. First of all, please let her know that even a perfect sranger is sorry about what happed and cares about her. Second, I think that you expressed everything very beautifully and I look forward to reading and replying to more of your work.

i wish i had a friend like you to write such wonderful poetry to me to help ME thorugh the tough times
