Hiya Everyone who reads this……well this poem is about losing my Best Friend (who is a guy) i loved him very much…but me and him are just too different and he replaced me with someone new Alone Left all alone in the darkness With no one to understand Feelings of abandonment Why did i let him be my only friend? Picking up broken friendships of the people i left behind I let him rule my world I must have been out of my mind He left me all alone suddenly Found someone new and better I sat in my room depressed I thought we'd always be together Why did i let myself fall in love with him? Thought he'd feel the same way soon Now i'm left with pieces of friendships Trying to mend the wound Please e-mail me or reply and tell me what u think…i have a few others that i would like to post too |

Welcome to Passions! You are welcome to post as many works here as you would like. One thing you should be aware of though. This is an interactive board therefore we appreciate anyone who posts here to reply to other poetry. I myself reply to more then 10 poems per one I post. As for you poem. It is very sad indeed. I am sorry about your loss. In my opinion, a person who would discard you like that is not worth much. Secondly it was a mistake to shed friends for a guy. If you do this all the time you will find yourself in the same possition again. It is healthier to be who you are and have someone accept you as you are then to make them your life. |

Welcome to Passions!  It was a very expressive poem. I'm sorry about your loss. It is hard when something like that happens. You have to step back and look for your true friends. If you are ever in a situation like this again make sure you don't disregard your friendships. They can be the most wonderful things that ever happen to you. I look foreword to reading your other poems. This one was very good. ------------------ Never frown because you never know who is falling in love with your smile. |
