I hear footsteps
they're getting closer
as they get closer they grow louder
the louder they grow the more excited i get
They stopped
I run to the door
I swing it open
In a leap of excitement
I wrap my arms around you
As I feel you hold me tight
I never want this momment to end
But I know you have to go
And yet, I know you'll be back
I'll be listening for footsteps
