I was passing by your house today
I noticed your car was there
So I figured you were home
I wanted to stop
But I knew it would only make things worse
Thinking about what happened
Makes me want to cry
But I'm afraid if I do
I won't be able to stop
I was passing by your house today
I noticed you were in your room
So I knew you were home
I wanted to stop
But I knew it wouldn't change anything
So I left you a note on your porch
Telling you I am sorry
I hope you can forgive me
Even though we're not a couple anymore
I hope we can still be friends

Enjoyed this...felt the fear and confusion. It does leave one with the question why the break up? It is not my business but the poem leaves the reader wondering why?
