You're my friend, My best friend. When I met you years ago, Our friendship started with hello. Now we're older, But we're still friends, Best friends. I would just like to say, I don't know where I'd be, If you weren't here with me. I couldn't be happier with anyone else, And as I sit here by myself, I think about what we'd been through, All the happiness and sorrow, All the good times and the bad. I'm so happy we made it throught it all. And with you by my side I will never fall. This poem is about and for my best friend, Amy. She's been my best friend for at least 5 years. Yeah, we've been through a lot together, and it means a lot to me that she's still my best friend. Thank you, Amy, and God Bless. |
