True friends may seem very rare, but that doesn't mean they aren't there. If you search the correct way. You can meet a true friend some day. Not every friend that you meet is true, and willing to share everything with you. You just need to know which friends are right, and your relationships will form quite tight. A true friend is willing to help you out, in times that you just want to pout. They help you out when you're feeling down, and make a smile from a frown. They help you to find who you are, and make your life improve by far. A true friend always does what is right, even with true friends you get in fights. If you find your true friend, make sure that you don't cause your friendship to end. True friends may seem rare, but believe me they are there. Although this poem has a nice message I disagree on a few points. 1. for me, it is NOT possible to meet a true friend every day 2. a true friend does not always do what is right, we all make mistakes 3. a true friend is one that is willing to go through a fight....to show you that he or she cares, but only over the important things. they won't pick a fight over petty things like clothes. 4. Not everyone has a true friend......for a long time, I didn't. ------------------ Thinking is just what a great many people think they are doing when they are merely rearranging their predjudices. |

hmmm...I did not see where it refered to meeting a true friend everyday...some day but not everyday. Amy..I think you read more into this then was there. It says that true friends are rare and that you have to search for them. This is about hope for those who think they are alone. MHO anyway. Laura....You are right. A true friend is a treasure and hard to find. They stick by you and support you...not necessarily what you do but you. Fights happen in any relationship (disagreements anyway) and if the person is true they will work it out. I am sorry about the handle thing. I just jumped at the name. Laura is a true friend of mine and we have known eachother since high school. I wasn't sure if she was playing with me...lol. The Laura I am talking about is in her 30's. That is why I wondered why she was posting in teen. I should have looked at your profile before posting but I was so excited...*L*. She moved to the west coast several years ago and we communicate through icq and e-mail. She knows about this site and I thought she was playing with me. My apologies. |
