That place with padded walls and funny people in white.........

~I am posting this here in hopes that any other teens who want to learn the various poetry forms can e-mail me, and I can send you a link to a pointer page that tells you a lot on the different formats.~

A red rose glimmers from morning dew
The sunlight filters through delicate skin
Silhoueting veins it cannot pass through
I'm drunk on the beauty, thoughts are aspin

My wistful heart says love someday must win
That our doves aren't lost in infinite skies
But my dreams are dilluted once again
And I am bewildered, lost in the "why's"

A tear slips out to a God I despise
He stole your presence from this dismal earth
You were an angel, a star in disguise
A destined savior from your very birth

This morning I put this rose on your grave
A small thank you for my life you did save

Beautiful!! Great choice of form
The last two lines were particularly good

~What if you slept? What if, in your sleep, you dreamed? And in your dream, you went to heaven and there plucked a strange and beautiful flower? And what if, when you awoke, you had that flower in your hand? Aye, what then?~

Put quite simply, I love it!!! I sometimes don't quite agree with some of your views, but that doesn't change the fact that your poetry is absolutely great!
