Dressed up in ten thousand hues
The sky was reflecting the ground
Somewhere in the garden of Muse
Golden leaves were hiding a noun

Collecting the nectar of valuable thoughts
Poets and writers resembled the bees
Filled with the themes, ideas and words
Ripened verses hung off the trees

Blowing around the worn out cliches
Autumn’s breeze swept through the garden
Breathing the mist straight into my face
The evening seemed lively and ardent

Lurking around the face of the clock
Hands of time crept on their toes
And leaving the garden I felt on my back
Stares of praise and bewildered applause

Master...beautiful poem. I can't describe it as anything but that.

This poems makes me think of a place where a lot of the romantic American writers from the mid 19th century gathered for awhile, I don't remember the name of it, but I think it was owned by Emerson. You weren't by chance talking of this place were you?
Anyway, love the description, you really know how to make one see what you're seeing.

"All comedians want to be rock stars, because they're cool. They always look like they're about to vomit. They have that rap before the song that doesn't make any sense 'A long time ago, there were lots of people, but that was a long time ago.'" -Dana Carvey
