What is it that brightens the day and
chases the clouds away.
What warms my heart and soul
to fill in the hole.

Are you aware
how much it glares
from dimple to dimple,
cheek to cheek.

Have you even looked in the mirror
and didn't it all seem much clearer.
The description of a perfected curve
on your face.

What I talk about now
is not sour nor bitter.
But as sweet as the nectar in a honeysuckle.
It is your smile which makes
my fears go away.

Dedicated to:Lauren Riley
