Sorrow will perish, sadness will vanish
I found a reason to abandon my anguish
Strained to the limit, stretched to the border
As if a guitar string, I pull my aorta

Words fall on paper, like shadows on snow
The pen scratches pages as if with a claw
Fresh streaks and scars appear on my back
As time spins the hours on the face of the clock

While death sits beside me, silently waiting,
Somewhere inside me, new life is mating
Denser and deeper, locked in Love’s hands
I find the answers in what doesn’t make sense

------------------
I fell in love and kept on falling
