Love Isn't Fair

Where will this love turn out?
Your truancy shows what loves about.
Why did the love get lost?
It's hidden deep beneathe the frost.
The tears don't seem to work anymore.
I sink my body down to the floor.
I choke on your absence; live through my fears.
I'm sick of this deserted heart; that would cry if it had tears.
My soul is hollow and my lips are dry.
My hand writes these letters and hopes for your reply.
You said you love me and that you care.
And then you took off; it isn't fair.
I try to bury you in the back of my head.
You find your way back; those words that you said.
I try to find bliss in this spiraled fold.
My feelings for you I'm trying to mold.
I want to conquer this trial of time.
I want to not miss you so much on the line.
I fight with my feelings; I battle them raw.
I recall those days it was you that I saw.
I don't want to get over you.
Or maybe I do, to make the tears few.
No one could ever take your place.
No one has that exact face.
I see no end to my lonliness.
It's no use pretending to see happiness.

I LOVE IT!!!!! i think it is one of the best poems i have ever read! it has tremendous meaning and i know exactly how you feel!! i am going through the exact same thing.

i like like poem alot. it brought tears to my eyes because i went through the same thing with my boyfriend, he almost broke up with me but we got through it.keep up the good work!!
