Dreams of…..

far away
so close at hand
skipping stones on pools
of tears
in misty corners
of eyes….
seeing so much
and feeling more
than I dream of
at night
when you are here
light years away
among the stars
that watch me constantly
for guidance of lost souls
in freedom
from being found
wanting less
than the receiving
of dreams

On dreams my thoughts have wings ...
I can fly, I can fly.
Across your heart.
Across the sky.
Winging my way
in and out ...
a dream is a state
I don't want to be without.

Oh, how we are inspired .. when we dream with our eyes wide open.
