Safe Harbor
by ãRichard J. Budig

Joyfully we parted.
Now let us come together again,
Joyfully.
Let me look upon thee,
And thee upon me.
Let us hold fast
One to the other.
We shall be safe harbor
For one another.
We shall be as light houses,
Beacons for each to guide upon,
Signaling through the dark
Uncertain night
That upon these shores
One awaits the other
Who sails alone.
