As sunsets over distant hills, I'm left with the pain that kills, was loving you such a crime, I'm your prisoner for all of time, How can you be so far away, I survive day,by painful day, This is more hurt that a man can bare, Dream of me,take me there, Dry my tears and stroke my face, Return me to that wonderous place, I know the pain I feel is shared, No ones heart is ever spared, that icy cold of love unfulfilled, my souls in mourning my heart is chilled, I'll wonder forever beneath starlight, the days are agony,it's worse at night, I never imagined your love lost, but oh my,what a cost. |
