Will you be my friend, And allow me to be yours? My hand will you let me lend, So your weary soul may soar? Will you let me see, Deep inside your hidden heart? Can you trust me to be, The one you've wanted from the start? Can you gaze into my eyes, And see the emotion begin to blaze? Can you gather from my sighs, That it's you I need for all my days? Will you take my trembling hand, And hold me tight within your arms? Will you save me from this land, And keep my from my mind's own harm? Will you softly touch my skin, And my yearning lips so gently kiss? Will you make me forget all that's been, And rain my soul with moonlit bliss? Oh please, will you be with me, And tell me what I feel is true?
