Eternity Is a Repeating Number

A song with endless looped repeats,
Eternity stretches before me.
The sweet melody soars and resounds,
Reverberating infinitely.

A tune that replays after one hearing,
Ethereal thoughts in fragmented measures,
Echo and reecho in consciousness,
Overlaying the day's action.

Life's music improvised moment to moment,
Never quite begins.
In minor key, my life proceeds,
Searching for resolution.
