And you tell me you're not good at poetry?! This just stuns me... I keep finding things I like even better about it... too many to list
(But especially all your 2 line groups).

Wow... more please!

You've got me confused, RobertB. What are you talking about?

Thanks Watcher666. I appreciate it.

I'll tell you Nara, your IP# is the same. The one you posted with and the one that was replied with. Would lead one to think you're posting a comment to your own poetry!

Oh, is that all? Duh! One could also think that Serraley and I are friends in REAL LIFE (the one without IP#'s!) and I often use her computer as my old 486 is slowly but gradually crapping out on me.

I don't even consider myself a poet but I'd be a pretty sad one if I thought I had to praise my own work. Sorry to disparage your detective work guys, but don't give up the day job!

Nara, please accept my apologies. I didn't mean to offend you! I'm glad you are able to use a friends computer. I'm glad you posted here and I hope you will continue to do so.
This is actually a warm and caring place, and I hope despite this that you continue to post and find that it is a one of a kind home to all of us here.

Please let us take this moment to ask your forgiveness and give you a warm welcome to Passions!

We didn't mean to start a flame war here...those don't happen in this forum. It was a good observation by whtdove. It did look suspicious. But we are glad you have friends who let you use their computers. You are most welcome here Nara.

No prob guys. I'll post from my own computer now. Although I doubt you'll see any more from me anyway. As I said, I'm not really a poet. Although any comments about the POEM would be greatly appreciated.

I wrote this solely for one purpose.

I think it's quite interesting. It seems like this took a lot of thought to put together. Great job!
Oops, and I forgot, I do hope you post more! I would enjoy reading them!

Ironic isn't it, that a person asks for some time, some space, and all of a sudden they're... evil?
Nice to have such supportive friends, I would think. I wish I had friends that supported me by damning instead of being patient.

Thanks WhtDove.

Christopher - I don't believe I ever used the word "evil". Support is a fine thing. Pity it's hard to find.

Well now, I usually disdain from entering into such a blatant attack and fray, but as it is directed at two of my close friends, I will indeed respond.

Yes, support is hard to find, especially among those holding preconceived notions based solely on one side of an issue and reinforced by ties of friendship that blind one to the pain and suffering of others.

One should realize that there are more than two sides of every issue and that desire alone cannot make an issue black and white.

Ultimately what "dove" and "star" choose to do is their decision as it is their decision of whether or not to make it a public issue. You have made that decision impossible.

I fail to see how your verse supports anything or anyone but your own agenda, but that is just my biased opinion as I am supportive of both those involved.

Ah, a bite at last and I realise a bark would have sufficed.
Actually, I thought, all things considered, that this was the most appropriate forum & format to make my point. My notions, far from preconceived, were based on the events - I call it as I see it.

But let me say this:
Love is not a poem.
Love is an action.
If that action is running away when the one you say you love has a problem. . . .what use is a lover's poem?
