Your verse is so familiar,
Each thought could be my own.
Concern I feel is valid,
Though oceans separate our homes.
I think of you as Sister,
A bond so very dear.
Pain I see within your words,
I quickly run to E-mail.
I hate to see you suffer,
Even the slightest hurt.
So please be sure and
Understand,
My shoulder will never jerk.
Please bend my ear,
Lean on me,
Whenever I am needed.

Someday my friend,
I do intend,
To look you in the eye.
Hug you close and let you know,
Sister's NEVER die.

I hated to reply to your post Isis....the two poems were sitting right beside eachother...as they should be. You give me much credit with the famous writer remark. I hope it comes true but I just enjoy the writing. I guess we all have dreams as long as we enjoy the doing.
