In a hollow wind the pages turn
before stone eyes that seek to learn
looking through a hidden door
I know this well, I've been here before

Stepping lightly on ocean washed sand
reaching infinitely for an angels hand
standing quietly on an empty shore
I know this well, I've been here before

Lost in a forest with no trees
a solitude beneath invisible leaves
staring blindly at the forest floor
I know this well, I've been here before

In a sacred room burns the desire
burning out of control, burning like wildfire
feeling the heart, hearing the roar
I know this well, I've been here before

Floating in a salty green sea
feeling the waves wash over me
covering me in all I adore
I know this well, I've been here before

Beautiful Echo...."I know this well, I've been here before"...Words that come to mind quite often.

------------------
NOT IN VAIN
If I can stop one heart from breaking
I shall not live in vain;
If I can ease one life
from aching,
Or cool one pain,
Or help one fainting robin
Into his nest again,
I shall not live in vain.
~Emily Dickinson
