always wanted to be
in control.

nothing new that day, but
something grew that day,
i felt it turn and twist and grab for more
it's tiny hands rakingthrough my jealous thoughts and crying out for more

my sickness, my distress, my watering eyes ad swelling breasts
it hurt so much to set you free

in a mad panic you
conquered me

and smashed me,
like a crystal womb inside the belly of the earth
