After the stars come out at night

Before the dawn begins

Uncalled evil, a familiar face, quietly slips in.

Silenced are my pains, covering his addiction.
Even though my night reveals,

Day cannot see my affliction.

Intense in its brevity, the acrostic form heightens it even more. Great job, here. The effect is perfect.

Very nice Acrostic. And I don't even know how to get a smiley face on the message!

The last line is very poignant...
The abused always seem to have a way of protecting the abuser.
