That place with padded walls and funny people in white.........

A little blonde girl smiles
She is charming, if not cute
She talks to strangers and beguiles
She's always ready to dispute

She is charming if not cute
With her hair cut like a boy
She's always ready to dispute
All this child's known is joy

With her hair cut like a boy
She's certainly not a beauty
All this child's known is joy
Playing with no sense of duty

She's certainly not a beauty
Though at this young age, she's worry-free
Playing with no sesne of duty
She'll acquire one soon, definitely

Though at this young age, she's worry-free
Dreaming with not a shadowed thought
She'll acquire some soon, definitely
Looking back, it was all for naught

Dreaming with not a shadowed thought
She talks to starngers and beguiles
Looking back, it was all for naught
A little blonde girl smiles

Hmmmm.... youth waisted on the young? Not sure if that's the message or not, but I enjoyed the read. I hope the little girl is still smiling.

Thank you everyone, for replies. I'm sure you all know the goofy smile that forms on your face when you go into a forum to see yours near the top....

Andrew, this is a depiction of my early childhood. Basically saying that I was so happy, outgoing, perhaps argumentitive and hard-headed, full of laughter and life.... but that it doesn't matter, it was all for nothing, because I was changed anyway.
