Daughter look up from three feet tall
And hear the rage in daddy's call
What's in your head? you keep playing!
Don't you hear what daddy's saying?

Daughter oh heed your daddy's call
He's twice over your three feet tall
You play with brothers shoot-shoot toys
Killing bad guys they're all just boys

Daughter please hear your daddys call
And note the wafting alcohol
Please do put down the shoot-shoot guns
And bid his call be on the run

Daughter playing in darkened hall
Pretends not hearing daddy's call
She hums a tune but sings it wrong
One of her daddy's drinking songs

Walt, nice to see you back! I felt a sadness reading this...Daddy doesn't know what effect he's having on this little girl..it's sad...... I liked it.

Rough...very very rough, and, unfortunately, all too common in today's families. Very vivid and aptly portrayed WoW, with good use of childhood metaphors and names.

Well you certainly haven't lost your touch, Walt. You certainly have been missed... This is a heartwrencher but only too true. Thank you.

Glad I am to see you back walt.

Well told, of course, and indeed heartwrenching.
