Whole Sort Of Genl Mish Mash
O! My soul is singing your song tonight!
My heart howls at the moon of my longing,
Coupling love's sweet joy with pain's bitter bite,
Angel's verse with spirit's restless keening.
Stretching toward the warmth of your embrace,
Then gathering my cloak against night's chill,
My lips ache for the smoothness of your face
As Time's cruel glass takes measure of my will.
Two souls joined in the throes of truest love
But parted by Fate's curious weaving,
Counting not of value man's golden trove,
Both seeking the wealth of love's true joining.
May love's humble verse strengthen you to strive
As your song so beckons my soul to live.
