If you but lift Me up you'll see
I'll draw all men unto Me;
If you convey My heart to all
Then needy souls will heed My call;
If you preserve the unity
Then all the world will surely see
My love is real and will believe
Yes, that I AM a sweet reprieve
From guilt and shame and they'll find rest
And hope and peace...forever blest.

If you but lift My Name on high
The world shall hear of El Shaddai.

What depth! What revelation veiled in simple rhyme. Keep letting Him write thru you.

Isis, Andrew, Verma and Poetic Preacher, thank you all for reading and commenting. I'm always appreciative!

Isis, welcome back, you have been missed! This is one of my earlier poems from last year that I just recently felt moved to share.

Poetic Preacher, that is truly my heart's desire. But these are not my words at all, They are His, just paraphrased a little! Wish I did have such depth! I just borrow His! Thanks again! Oh, I tried to sign your guest book at your site but couldn't get in. I'll try again later!
