Trick Or Treat

Amidst the dark of night
Beneath the harvest moon
Carved pumpkins shine their light
The fall has come too soon

Beneath the harvest moon
Their laughter fills the air
The fall has come too soon
Now Halloween is here

Their laughter fills the air
They line up one by one
Now Halloween is here
And they will have some fun

They line up one by one
Under October skies
And they will have some fun
While dressing in disguise

Under October skies
The ghosts and goblins roam
While dressing in disguise
They’ll come into your home

The ghosts and goblins roam
Carved pumpkins shine their light
They’ll come into your home
Amidst the dark of night

Witches In Flight

Oh my you cry
Spiders and bats
The witches fly
In big black hats

Spiders and bats
Witches in flight
In big black hats
Are out this night

Witches in flight
Up in the air
Are out this night
In hopes to scare

Up in the air
Ugly bats fly
In hopes to scare
As you pass by

Ugly bats fly
The white ghosts glow
As you pass by
There down below

The white ghosts glow
The witches fly
There down below
Oh my, you cry

Wow, Ruth,
These are simply marvelous...especially being your first two. Nan has surely done right by you. Very impressive.

These were delightful. You folks seem to have a proliferation of pantoums going around. What's the occasion?

Somebody clue me in, please!

Well Ruth...A++ from me...and as for that extra credit!...Brown noser. I think I will sit behind you next class. Easier to look over your shoulder and cheat a little...LOL. I really hope that Michael wasn't too bad with the spit balls. He can be such a trouble maker.

Hoot, I liked the read, especially the first one. I think these have to go back to the top for Halloween.
